He is survived by his wife, Joann Spencer, Harlane Spencer,lll, brother, nephew, Harlan Jos. Hawkins(Danielle), 2 great nieces, Sani and Heaven, 1 great nephew, Harlan Jos. Hawkins, 1 aunt, Dorthea Lewis, 1 sister Waltonia W. Winchester and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 6 PM, Mt. Joy Church, 451 Townsend St. Wilm.,DE.
