Ellsworth (Ellsie) S. Brown, Sr., 70 of Wilm DE., passed away April 25, 2014. Ellsie was born Dec 14, 1943 in Wilm, DE to the late Herbert (Dick) N. Brown and the late Janie S. Anderson-Brown. He attended Howard High School, married Onriette Ross on August 6, 1963, was drafted and served in the Army.Ellsie is survived by his daughter Patricia Hinton, sons Ellsworth S. Brown, Jr., Kevin Henderson, Kenneth Brown Lucas and ElJareau Brown.A viewing will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2200 N Claymont Street, Wilmington, DE on Friday May 9, from 9-11am; funeral service, 11 am. Burial service will be held at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Bear, DE.
