Essie Mae Smiley

Essie Mae Smiley age 90- Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2017. Born in Volusia County, FL. Essie Mae was the daughter of the late Helen James and Isiah Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodrick Elmo Smiley, sons Theodrick Smiley and Ernest Smiley, two daughters Betty Howard and Aretha Smiley-Void. She is survived by James, Isaiah, Bernard (Francine), Brenda and Vearlee, 22 grandchildren and a host off nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Mother UAME Church 701 E 5th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Viewing will be 9am-11am followed by funeral service at 11am.
