Johnnymae Rose Bell- Jenkins

Johnnymae Rose Bell Jenkins was born on January 3, 1933 to the late John H & Mary L. Bell. She departed this life on June 17, 2017 at the University of Maryland BWI Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Johnnymae was predeceased in death by her parents, John H. & Mary L. Bell; her husband of 61 years, Bernard (Jake) who passed away recently on April 7,2017; her children; son, Bernard; daughter, Toni Lynn; brother, John L. Bell; sisters, Mary L. and Ethel I. Bell and devoted best friend Madeline Goldsborough.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Terry B. and Bryan D. Jenkins; one sister, Lydia Bell Jones; grandchildren, Gaynelle C. Webster, Kevin O. Barnes and Jasmine Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Jarell K. Webster and Jada L. Barnes; nieces and nephews who were raised as sons and daughters; J. Llewellyn Bell, Brenda Bell, Tony Bell, Mary Bell, Bonnie Bell, Annette Bell, Desiree Bell, Derrick Bell and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 11am, viewing 9-11, Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2200 N. Claymont Street Wilmington, DE 19802. Interment, Delaware Veterans Cemetery
