He was a great father and uncle and no matter what path he chose the children always saw the good in him and felt the love from him. “Bubby” also loved his mother. He was a momma’s boy at heart. He would often pop up at her jobs just to sit and bother her or call her DiDi to pluck her nerves. He loved to play the football lottery and visit the casino in his spare time. He loved the family that was closest to him. He would often just drive over to his families’ homes and sit outside in his car just to be near them or make his presence known. His sister would often find him in her pots eating food off the stove or walking out with plates of food or passed out in her guest room no matter how much they argued. To his family he was the family comedian you could always get a good laugh when he was around. All that knew Bernard knew he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, he would often stop and give money to the homeless in his travels.
