Carmen N. Gray was born at Wilmington General Hospital on November 9, 1963. She was the daughter of the late John H. Wright and Marlene B. Wright.
She departed this life on October 28, 2022
Carmen was loved by everyone she met. Carmen had such a kind heart but don't let that fool you when it came to her children she did not play. Carmen would literally give you the shirt off her back if someone was in need. The love that Carmen showed was truly unremarkable.
Carmen was very much a strong God-fearing woman and would remind us of that every chance she got. Carmen went to Lore Elementary school and attended Bayard Middle School. She went on to McKean High School where she graduated in the class of 1981.
Once she graduated High School, she then went on to Jamison school of ministry and Theology.
Carmen was a very strong and opinionated person. To TRULY know Carmen, you know exactly what I’m speaking of. LOL
Carmen was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Elsie Boyer, one sister Linda Watts, one brother James E Boyer, one uncle, James A. Boyer and William H. Purnell companion and special friend.
Carmen leaves to cherish her memory her mother Marlene B Wright, One daughter Sierra L Gray, one son Freddie Lee Gray 3rd, one brother Marc Wright (Adrianne.) One aunt Annette King. Seven grandchildren Zakier Gray, Ra'maj Gray, Geramiah Gray, Genesis Gray, Mesai Gray and Milan Gray, Jesiah Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
