Jannie Lee Smallwood was born on December 3, 1989 to Lita M. Camper and Chester Starlings. She departed this life on October 3, 2018.
She’s the mother of Kareemah Short, stepdaughter of Michael Camper.
Jannie received her education in the Wilmington Public Schools.
She loved working. Her last job was at Payless where she was an Assistant Manager.
She also loved to dance and play basketball. Jannie loved family functions where she was the life at everyone. She always had a joke and a smile for you. She was a fun loving person. To know her was to love her.
She leaves to cherish her memory; Mother Lita M. Smallwood, Theresa Green, Dennetta Green, Evette Williams, Kennetta Davis, Zie’Hearia Davis, Thendra Davis, Keisha Reams, Michell Garner, Barbara Garnes, Shelia Wilson and Donna Williams. Uncles; Wayen Smallwood and Jerz Toston. Great Aunts; Lita Jones, Laydesha Lockhart and Charlene Hope. Great Uncles; Lee Smallwood, AKA, Pop-Pop, Farah Tamboice, and Lamont Davis, 4 Godchildren; Janie Mitchell, Laython Howell, Ceiony Cooper and Zhainn Pee. A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 11am. Viewing 9-10:45 am only at Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1400 B Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.
