Jocelyn Nerissa Raison passed away on October 8, 2021. She was 71 years old.

Jocelyn was a resident of Wilmington, Delaware, and a retired teacher. Known as Mrs. Hall and Ms. Raison by er former students, Jocelyn taught for a total of thirty-two years in the Wilmington Public Schools System, Red Clay School District and lastly in the Christiana School District.

Jocelyn graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Delaware State College, and she completed graduate studies at University of Delaware. She also took computer courses at Goldey Beacom.

Jocelyn was the daughter of Elizabeth(Betty) R. Clark and the granddaughter of Margaret and Elwood Raison. Jocelyn leaves beind a beloved son, Bernard L. Hall, Jr., and the love of her life and special friend, Jerome Lewis.

Although Jocelyn didn't have a church home, she was born into a Baptist family and christened as a Baptist. As a child, teenager, and young adult, she explored, received, and enjoyed the WORD from many different pastors.

Jocelyn loved music, singing, dancing and seasonally decorating her classroom and home. She was an avid watcher of TV, especially her favorite soaps and movies. Jocelyn also enjoyed playing and dining at the casinos.

A memorial service will be held on Friday October 22, 2021 at 11 am, Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Masks are required for all attendees. There will be no viewing.
