Leondra “Lee” Michelle Brown
Leondra Michelle Brown, affectionately known as Lee, passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 8 , 2020, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Lee was born June 22, 1967, the 2 nd daughter & youngest child of Howard R. Brown, Jr. and the late Evelyn E. Brown, in Wilmington, Delaware.
She received her early education in the Wilmington Public Schools, graduating from Howard High School of Technology in 1985, completing all career competencies for the Medical Assistance program. After high school, Lee attended Springfield College receiving a BS degree and a Masters degree in Human Services. Lee was employed by Verizon, The Boys & Girls Club of New Castle, and The Brandywine YMCA. She was recently employed as a CNA for the Mary Campbell Center until her illness.
Lee enjoyed talking with her family catching up on the latest gossip and surfing the web. She enjoyed watching reality shows, and all Tyler Perry shows.

, Orlando A. Brown (Sherell) and Deion A. Brown (Mary); and a sister, Tracey T. Whye (John); three uncles, Percy Leon Jackson (Sheila), Arvon U. Jackson and Robert S. Jackson, Sr. and her BFF Lillian.
She was predeceased by her mother, Evelyn E. Brown, her brother Marvin Dartanya Brown, one great aunt Addie Massey, four uncles: Joseph Ben Jackson, Jr., Christopher N. Jackson, Sr., Joseph Harmon and Clarence White, Sr., six aunts, Rachel B. Jackson, Myrtle Jackson, Hannelore Jackson, Minerva Harmon, Margaret White and Alberta Jackson, and one great nephew Jayden Terrell Brown.
Also, her memory is cherished by seven nieces and two nephews, Stephanie, Alexis, Iyonia, Chauntie-Marie (Tay), Domonique, Shealyn, Aja, Orlando II (OJ) and Trasjohn, nine great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew; two sisters-in-law, Lisa Saunders and Felicia Morgan, in addition to a host of cousins, friends and extended family.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday September 17, 2020, 11am. Viewing, 9-10:45 am. Interment, Gracelawn Cemetery.
