Ma'ya Hope Singletary was born on November 1, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware to Benjell (Tina) Singletary-Caulker and the late Joshua Dryen.
In June 2019, Ma'ya graduated from McKean High School in Wilmington, Delaware. She later completed her certification in Information Technology at IT Works in December 2024 and went on to work as an IT professional for CSI Company.
Ma'ya had a generous heart and a joyful spirit. She loved to cook and fill her home with the comforting scents of candles and flowers. She adored her fur babies, Misty, Lucy and BoBo and found peace and happiness at the beach. Above all, Ma'ya cherished spending time with her significant other, Seth Rodriguez and their extended families.
On October 5, 2025, Ma'ya transitioned from this life. She leaves to cherish her, Her devoted mother, Benjell Singletary-Caulker, her bonus father, Sam Caulker; her siblings, Malachi (Sarah) Singletary, Isaiah Singletary, and Tione Dryden, her aunt and uncle, Michelle (Steve) Fassett. her godparents, Charles Daniels, Derrick and Keisha Duncan, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who forever will hold her in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joshua Dryden, and her grandparents, Caldean Davis and Edward and Brenda Dryen
