Quenton Otis Stanford

Quenton Otis Stanford, best known by all as Frank Nitty, son of the late Harry and Viola Stanford was born on June 28, 1951 in Easton, Maryland. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 atWilmington Hospital in Delaware.

Quenton received his education in the public schools of Easton, Maryland. He was employed by Tommy Rose, The Sansone's Seafood Market, DiSabatino Construction, YatZ’s, and we must not forget Blackie’s Water Ice. He also worked out of Local 199 and 36. Later on in life, he became self-employed as a cement finisher.

Otis’ hobbies included fishing, playing cards, and biking as a devoted member of the Thunderguards.

Nitty left an everlasting impression on all who came in contact with him. He was known as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, friend, and a man who always kept a smile on his face.

Quenton was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters,  four brothers, a son-in-law, and granddaughter.

Quenton leaves to cherish  his memory: his wife, Beatrice Stanford,  five sisters: Lillian Holmes, Grace Holden, Geraldine Steward, Shirley Anderson, and Faith Green, one brother: Norman Wright, his children: Brandon Reed (Ericka), Quenton Stanford Jr., Keisha Brooks-Smith, Melissa Ewell, and Patricia Ewell, devoted friend: Dorothea Handy along with a host of grand and great-grand children, cousins, friends, and family.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023, Ezion Fair Baptist Church, 1400 B Street Wilm,,DE 19801. Viewing 10-12 pm, service 12 pm. Interment, private
