Ramona Alice Neal

Ramona Alice Neal, the daughter of the late Louise Waters and Brooks Neal was born January 9, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Ramona went to eternal rest on August 3, 2020 in Christiana Care Hospital.

Ramona received her early education in the public schools of Philadelphia, PA.

Ramona loved watching television, her favorite channel was Lifetime, and her favorite shows were Cheaters and Empire.  Ramona had a strong love for the Lord and accepted Him as her personal savior. She was a member of The Glorious Full Gospel Church, under the leadership of Chief Apostle Patricia C. Williams and Senior Pastors Chaun and Tawana Ricks.  She also loved gospel music, she would listen to Marvin Sapp’s “Never Would Have Made It”, when she heard this song she would go into full praise.  Her favorite saying was “LOVE CONQUERS THE WORLD”.

She was preceded in death by her sister Lucille Neal Pulliam,”Patsy”.

Ramona leaves to cherish her memory, sister Betty Dorsey and brother in law Bill Dorsey.  A devoted friend for over 60 years Brenda Bell, her special children Juliet Bell-Hall (Walter), Jamier(Ambra), Janae, and Arquis Bell, who she considered her own, the Bell Family, Co-Co, the family dog who was her baby, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 14, 2020 at 6 PM, Mother UAME Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. All attendees must wear masks.
