Reginal Danny “Hoss” Brady
Reginal Danny “Hoss” Brady was the third son born to the late Francis L. & Cornelia Armetta Roberts Brady. Danny was born in Wilmington on October 21, 1950 and raised in Delaware City, Delaware. He was sixty-seven years old when he departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, Delaware.
He received his education in the Delaware City Public School system. He was an athlete who played basketball and football. He worked at DuPont Experimental Station for eighteen years as an accountant before retiring and beginning a new career working as a truck driver.
Danny was a fun-loving brother, uncle and friend. He was a devoted son who took exceptional care of his mother until her passing.
Danny loved riding his motorcycle “Sweet Thing” and became a lifelong member of the Thunder Guard Motorcycle Club, Wilmington Chapter.
He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Gerald A. “Bubby” Brady (Karen Q.), Craig W. Brady (Kathleen W.) and Gwendolyn M. Quailes. And special sister-in-law Rev. Clementine Brady Henderson. His nieces and nephews: Sean “Bam-Bam” Brady, Craig A. Brady, Devon & Melissa Brady, Dr. Drew & Evelyn Brady, Camron, Ebony, Dahniene & Shannan Brady, Gregory Quailes and Javon Floyd. And a host of Great & great-grand nieces, nephews, cousins (special cousin Rachelle “Shelly”), relatives and friends.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 10 AM, viewing 9-10 AM, Mt. Salem UAME Church, 4th and Bayard Streets, Delaware City, DE. Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Delaware City, DE
