Master Robert E. Taylor, Jr. the eldest of 3 children, was born on June 5, 1961, to the late Doris Williams and Robert "Jock" Taylor, Sr. He was welcomed into Glory by his parents and beloved brother Charles Taylor.
Robbie graduated from Howard High School of Technology in 1979. After high school, he ventured in the automotive field, where he worked as an auto mechanic for many years. Robbie was a dedicated historical member of the Thunderguard Motorcycle Club. As "Master Robbie", he was also a proficient Martial Arts instructor, who had deep passion for teaching and instilling his craft. If you didn't know Robbie in one of these capacities, you would have met him and fallen in love with him as a lifeguard for the City of Wilmington, where his legacy would have started. Robbie's roots are deeply embedded in Wilmington, DE; however, he and his wife Greta, relocated and made a home in Daytona Beach, FL in 2011. Once established Robbie enrolled at WyoTech Automotive Trade School. Robbie dreamed of working for Harley Davidson, building and repairing what he loved most, motorcycles.
Robbie was immensely loved, from church to clubhouse. As much as Robbie loved, Robbie was a big ball of L.O.V.E. Robbie would call his family and friends at anytime of the day. If he thought of you, he was going to call regardless of anything. Robbie would call just to hear your voice, find out if you were o.k. and hang up.-"Ok, bye" Robbie was our protector in every way. If Robbie knew you, you were covered always. If you knew Robbie, you knew his care and concern was genuine and true.
While Robbie is in Heaven he leaves to cherish his memory; His loving wife of 26 years Greta Taylor, brother, Marvin Harris,2 daughters; Thelma and Tia Warren, 1 goddaughter, Takiyah Dillard, 2 sons; Warren and Jamil Tribbett and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunts/uncles, cousins, and friends.
